SUPPORT COUNTY COUNCIL BILL FOR PUNALU`U

Greetings!

YOU can make a difference! Hawai`i County Councilman Bob Jacobson has introduced Communication 349 (Reso 169-07) that would authorize the county to enter into negotiations for the Punalu`u Beach Park, Ninole Pond and adjacent lands. This is an important first step in the permanent protection of the entire ahupua`a of Punalu`u - from the Mountains to the Sea.

A VOTE on the bill will take place on Tues., May 1st, 2007 in the Hawaii County Finance Committee. Here is how YOU can help support this bill:

Please come and testify at the Finance Committee Meeting and show your support of this important bill. Anyone can testify and comments are limited to 3 minutes. Testimony will be taken at the beginning of the meeting. You can testify in person at 9:00am, Tues, May 1st, at the Sheraton Keauhou Bay Resort or at the Hawai`i County Council Chambers in Hilo in the Ben Franklin Building.
